Another sunset over the Pacific

I have been playing in Photoshop and came up with this sunset photo from last October. It is the same Pacific Ocean as the previous ones have been but about 2600 or so miles away, to the south and west. This was taken on the Hawaiian island of Maui, a few miles south of the town of Lahaina while Pat & I were visiting there last October. I think sunsets are nice regardless of where they are from. And Hawaii is a pretty nice place to visit.

Great photo...like you I never tire of sunset/sunrise shots!

Okay, you win! That one is nice. Have you gotten in the "Skywatch Friday" frenzy? Click on the skywatch thingy on my sidebar and check it out. Somwe pretty fantastic photos there.
When you come over in a few weeks or so let me know, catmommaJ wants to come meet you two also. She reads you all the time. She lives in Oak Harbor and volunteers at the Playhouse with Mary Lou.

Ooooooooh nice! Looks like it was taken in Kihei?

Ohhhh...wow....wish I could pay you to make that into a bigger picture and hang that on my wall? *hint hint*

Very nice shot, Dick.

Fortunately, this time it looks like we probably won't get any bad weather off the hurricane. If we do, it will be after it gets further inland and weakens, then it will most likely be just a rain event. Of course if it rains enough it may become a flood event.

Hope you had a great Labor Day weekend!

Love and hugs,

Diane

I agree, never a dull sunset. I think I have photos from that same spot, perhaps I shall scan it one of these days to share here.
Your house looks great... very cozy.
I enjoyed seeing your garden friends especially the goonie birds!
